FontCard is a haxie that modifies the Font menu in Carbon and Cocoa applications. It nates add an icon that displays the format of a font next to the font menu point, expose the font name in the font confront, group fonts into submenus, and add font collections to the font menu. What's New: Version 1.1: This version is instantly 5 to 30 times faster at displaying font menus.
Now works with Cocoa applications. A unexampled menu point is added under the Show Fonts menu point. Supported on Mac OS X 10.3 Panther and later only.
New Registration System. Registered users are able to dog the Update Now button to promptly and easily update their registration. The unexampled sequential number works across users so if you give permissions to publish to /Library, altogether users will get the unexampled SN automatically.
Now works in BBEdit 8.0 and other Carbon applications that practice the font panel.
Fixed a clash when selecting a font from a popup menu in some applications.
Now works with Photoshop and other application's palette font menus.
Now works in Word 2004. The fact it did not sour was not a wiretap in FC. FC instantly works some the wiretap in Word 2004 by sending Word 2004 an AppleEvent.
Added the option to control selected fonts in the menu point. Off by default. Very, very slow and doesn't sour in applications that practice the Font Panel.
Rewrote the font menu handling when running on Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar does not support this unexampled method of font menu handling.
Made it do a destiny more sour beforehand if a font menu had been opened in a previous launch of the application.
No longer tries to equal via PostScript names. No font menu is ever going to practice PostScript names for its menu point names. Speeds up font menu rebuilds a flake.
Only tries to equal font class names if the application is an application that could possibly give a equal that mode.
Fixed a problem in the preference panelling that made it impossible to give custom settings for an application with no clump identifier and no creator code.
