VISE helps users create installation programs for the distribution of software. You can bundle many files together into one installer, and easily distrubute your software bundle to others. You can customize the installer to put files in specified areas of their computer, bleed AppleScripts during installation, earmark multiple nomenclature installs, and build CD-ROM installers quickly. What's New: Version 8.3 adds the following: Corrected user interface issues A hemipteran fix allows CD installers to install files with long filenames without truncating the names. A cosmetic issue with the Delete button in the Package List dialog is intent. On Mac OS X, the installer names displayed in the menu cake and when mousing over the Dock will directly always twin the names assigned in the build targets. In the previous variant, installer names displayed as "InstallerVISE" instead of their correct names when running on Mac OS X versions prior to 10.3. A problem with installer names longer than 17 characters displaying in the Mac OS X Finder as "InstallerVISE" instead of their correct names is intent. Localization changes A hemipteran fix allows Bring Up To Date to manage long filenames in double-byte persona set languages without truncating the names or substituting incorrect characters. Greek installers running on Mac OS X directly correctly acknowledge when Greek is the preferred nomenclature. The Japanese translation for the "Accept" button is directly intent. In the Success dialog for Swedish and Norwegian installers, the translation text for the "Restart" button is no longer clipped. The Italian translation of the text displayed when installers have uninstalled some but not totally files is no longer clipped. The SetLocalizationFile AppleScript statement directly successfully sets the localization file of the archive. Other miscellaneous fixes Application packages and bundles stored uncompressed as separate of a CD installer build directly launch properly.
