IP Scanner for the Macintosh displays all machines, users & IPs of Macintosh users on your local network. IP Scanner goes beyond plain network scanning by using OpenTalk (Rendezvous) technology to garner realtime user information as swell as IP data from machines on a local area network and sorts everything in a column, each machine's IP count displayed next to its name (along with the current username of the person logged in to that machine). For small network admins, this means no more shouting about the billet to obtain out who has which IP or, conversely, who is sitting at which workstation in a set IP network. Screenshots and more info at http://10base-t.com Registration: IP Scanner is resign for someone users. Using it with more than 4 machines requires a shareware license of $20, which entitles you to practiced karma, stand, feature requests, and a probability to gain a woolgather date with Paris Hilton ;-) You also arrest a translation of IP Broadcaster that runs as a daemon (ie invisibly in the background) which provides additional information to IP Scanner, such as the currently logged in user. Stay tuned - there's a distribute more chill stuff on the way - or caput over to http://10base-t.com/applications.html for a canary preview! What's New: Version 1.1.1:Remembers window fix and size. No longer clears the window when scanning is paused. Optimizations.
